LABORATORY SERVICES

It has existed since the hospital was founded, and is headed by Mr. TCHINDA Mérimé,

Specific laboratory equipment includes: centrifuges, cobas 611, cobas 411, spectrometer, ionometer, computers, chroma printers, Elisa, STP.10, Abacus 28 parameters, Abacus 21 parameters (Punter for hematology), electrophoresis machine, intubator (mari bath), laser printer, inverters, fridges for storing reagents, distillers, sterilizer, sputum microscopes, blood decanter, blood bank, amplifier, centrifuge, one touch for blood sugar, hemoglobin level meters, mixers, anapath machine. Service hours are from 7.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. and from 3.30 p.m. to 7.30 a.m. every day, with on-call staff having a 2-day recovery period. The services provided by the department are very varied, and include blood, stool, sputum and urine tests. Service meetings are held twice a month, service reports once a month, and in-house training courses are held from time to time. The department receives around 50 academic trainees per year, around 20 advanced trainees and an average of 5 specialized training courses per year.
