Mission

The hospital’s main mission is to provide quality care and services to patients, in accordance with the rules of the art, emphasizing respect, welcome, proximity and, above all, preserving or restoring patients’ dignity.

The hospital and all its staff are promoting a more humane approach to medicine, in which the patient is at the heart of the strategy.

To this end, the CHDSMP’s mission is to:

Meet the health needs of the population in a hierarchical manner.
Ensure excellence in healthcare and make it accessible to all, including the poor and vulnerable;
Provide curative, preventive and promotional care to all those in need.
To welcome and support pregnant women, and ensure the best possible conditions for childbirth;

  • Provide inpatient, outpatient and home care.
  • Promote preventive medicine by educating and training patients and the general public;
  • Provide students in medical training institutions with an appropriate framework for both academic and advanced training.
  • Ensure ongoing training for staff through seminars and refresher courses;

Vision

The Dominican Sisters, sent by the community to all men and women, especially the poorest, evangelize and collaborate in the transformation of social structures, aware that the apostolate is a community work that is the responsibility of the whole community, so the mission be shared with the laity as a call to ecclesial communion and as a fruit of it. We work on health, ensuring that it is integral to the person: physical, mental and emotional health.

Testimonials

Patient feedback

We place great importance on the testimonials and opinions of our patients.

Suffering as I was, I was very well received. Reception first by Doctor Akana. In the emergency room you’re welcomed first. I was psychologically comforted. You really care about patients.

M. AWAL Hamadou

I think it’s a good hospital. There’s a good welcome. The patient is taken into account, and the specialist is available, as well as medicines from the pharmacy.

M. ZAMENGELA Gabriel

I’m very proud of the hospital, I feel at ease here, I’m with my patient, I can eat in the canteen, the nurses take care of us, they’re very kind, they’re always there. We have no worries here.

Mme. MARTINE NGA Rachelle
